I have been a practicing therapist since 2021 after completing the MEC program at Quincy University with an emphasis in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am currently pursuing my PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision at Adams State University where I also serve as a Counselor Education Assistant, working with faculty to support their research and advocacy efforts. My areas of clinical focus include suicide intervention and treatment, trauma, grief, and queer identity-related issues. My professional affiliations include the Americal Psychological Association and the Illinois Counseling Association, previously serving as the president of the Chi Omega chapter of Chi Sigma Iota at Quincy University. I regularly engage in advocacy and community outreach events for various social justice, mental health, and animal rescue organizations to support their efforts in the local community.
